Instalacja

  1. I have to somehow connect to existing installation, it’s already very messy and I think a little dangerous, unprotected. I have to take two wires from there - phase and neutral wires. For security purpose I can buy additional residual current device and mount it to the wall.
  2. From this device I could roll the cable on floor along the wall loosely. Then it have to go up beside the wall to the junction box.
  3. Connection box will include Desktop 9V 5A adapter that will be connected directly to the 230V (cut the original power plug and solder two cables from 230V side).
  4. Cut the 9V end of Desktop adapter and mount it to the junction box. Connect the camera’s cables to the junction box either by female DC adapter or by bare wire.
  5. Provide the cables to each camera on floor, beside the walls with outside endings. Measure the expected lengths of cables as it cannot be longer than 10m. For now I'm expecting cables like 8m, 10m, 10m, 15m.
  6. Drill the holes in walls - 10mm.

I’m thinking about moving to the LAN cameras as I need to provide cables anyway. I could build the network with NVR in the place of previous junction box. It would have at least four LAN ports with PoE support for cameras. As long as this approach sounds better, the cost will increase significantly.
